Virtual Servers

Virtual servers, often refered to as VPS or VDS are servers running special software which allows more than one operating system to run in parallel on a server. As such it offers the isolation and security of a dedicated server without the associated cost.

Virtual Servers are ideal for people who need the customisability of a dedicated server but not the power, as such a VPS offers the best of both worlds for the less busy sites (or less CPU intensive). Of course they're also ideal for first time server admins.

All servers come with 2 control panels (one of which is optional). Every server can view its usage statistics, reboot and reinstall the operating system as well as other numerous tasks from within the control panel

If you're using the VPS for webhosting, every VPS comes with the free (but totally optional) LXAdmin control panel. cPanel and DirectAdmin are available as optional add-ons
